How to use task assign event in form

Hi friends,

There is a requirement to change the Status (text field on the form) and write a log (to a DB) when a team manager assigns task to a team member.

Please let me know if there is an event I can make use of.

Also, have you had a look at setting up external lookup tables? Or using workflow to update a database table or field?

Thanks for the reply Ziad and so nice to be in touch again :)

Customer wants to capture log for every step involved in their business process including when a team lead assigned a Form task to a team member. We modified the WF a little bit so this is no longer urgent but if you find something, please send it through as it may be required later on.

What version is being used? If i recall, 10.1 has that option inbuilt?
