Shortcuts/hyperlinks in Excel

asked on June 7, 2016

Has anyone found an easy way to put shortcuts/hyperlinks into an Excel spreadsheet that would navigate to documents in Laserfiche?

You can use WF to generate Document URL's and Assign the URL into a Metadata Field.

In LF, open the Folder with your files or do a Search to identify your documents.

Customize the Columns across the top to show the URL Metadata Field

Export the data into a CSV and there you have it. A complete list of the docs with Name and URL's

If I were continually adding, would I be able to copy/paste individual URL's, rather than pulling a report each time?

If you have saved the url into the docs metadata field as i had mentioned above, then yes, you could open individual files and copy the url from the metadata field into your excel sheet individually as required.
