Question

Is there a way to manually reset or restore Web Access settings without Web Access Admin page?

asked on June 7, 2016 Show version history

I have a user with a demo VM who managed to change the settings on their Web Access and Web Access Admin so that those pages are no longer accessable. I think by forcing it to use HTTPS, but I'm not 100% certain that's the cause.

Is there a way to manually restore the Web Access configuration settings back to the freshly installed defaults? Or do we no have choice but to uninstall, clear out any stored settings after uninstall, and reinstall?

If you look in the installed WA directory you should see a DefaultConfig folder next to the Config folder.

Are you getting this with any browser?

Note that based on the message, your issue is with SSL, not with Web Access.

If you type in http://localhost/laserfiche/configuration, does it work?

Does http://localhost only work?
