User Authentication in Formsconfig always Unable to connect to Laserfich

Formsconfig is using a Forms account licensed to connect to the repository.  It is always unable to connect here and there and all I do is to to the config and verify and it works again for a time.

 

Any reason this drops verification almost weekly?

Did you get "Unable to connect to Laserfiche." under the repository name? There is an internal account with is called "FORMSUSER$" which is used for Forms to connect to repository to synchronize accounts from repository to Forms.  Every time you save the authentication on Forms side, it will reset the password of this user in the repository and also update the password saved in the Forms database. The "unable to connect to Laserfiche" error appear when Forms server can't use the password saved in the database to connect to the repository.  Can you check whether the password expiration for the repository has been set to require user to change password weekly?  If not, do you have two Forms servers use same repository?
