Shortcut Combination Issue

asked on May 26, 2016 Show version history

Hello,

I have a client that is running into issues running certain shortcuts in Laserfiche.

They have a Business Process, that can run with CTRL+SHIFT+C, but cannot with CTRL+ALT+C.

The process doesn't do anything when it is the CTRL+ALT+C.

Do you know if there's any conflicts with this shortcut, or could this be related to a users attributes? And if so, any reason why there wouldn't be a pop-up showing there might be conflict?

I didn't see anything in the User Guide on this, Default Shortcuts:

https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/9.2/en-US/UserGuide/Laserfiche_Client.htm#Scanning/Default Shortcuts (Standard).htm

They are running 10.1.0.151

Ctrl+Alt+C is one of the default shortcuts used for copying. It looks like the reassignment works as far as the user interface is concerned, but the new functionality is not mapped properly. I filed a bug for it and we'll look into fixing it for next version.

It's been added recently, it looks like it hasn't made it into the documentation.

I have tested both keys and was able to confirm that ctrl+alt+c doesnt start the business process. i am not sure why this is happening but would love to know. Maybe windows need this somehow but windows doesnt do anything with this hotkey combination.
