I would love to see Laserfiche sell a subscription to a VM similar to that utilized for Empower but that would be available. This would facilitate the exploration of new products and even selling those to our users as we could perform demonstrations on our own (or very similar) environment of a product (ie Connector, Forms, etc). This VM could be limited in the number of documents it can retain and the number of users and even remove the ability to network.

As an user, I would pay the yearly subscription and be able to download the VM everytime there is a new release with new features and be able to import a Briefcase with some sample data and layout for my organization. at the same time if a new configuration or aplication instance is created like a new workflow or quickfields or connector, I could export those and once I buy the license for the product import into my production.
