Question

Color coding folders

asked on May 25, 2016

Is there a way to color code the subfolders within a folder.  We are trying to mimic our paper file and currently the sections of one paper file are separated by a name and a color.  For example, all correspondence are stored in the "yellow" section. all filings are stored in the "green" section.  I am creating folders called "Correspondence" and "Filings" but would really like the users to be able to see a color somewhere on the folder row since that is what they are really used to seeing.

We use Web Access v10.1.

you could assign a different template to each subfolder and based on the template configuration, everyone of the folders could have a different color

I will have to think about it.  Seems kind of clunky to create eight empty templates just to get a color.  Guess I will see how important the colors are to the users.  Thanks for the suggestion.
