Office plug in - Access Denied

Hi Chynna,
Which version of the Office plugin do you use? What is your operation with Office Plugin? Save local document to Laserfiche or open document from Client/Web Access?
Thanks,
Qinmei
Right now we have different add-in. Laserfiche Word (2003, 2007, 2010, & 2013). Not sure which one should be selected.
We have a word document we need to check out and update the metadata. Than check the document back in.
I am not sure if that is what you are asking.
Hi Chynna,
I think Qinmei was asking for your version of the Laserfiche Client or Web Access that are using with the Office plugin. So that'd be 10 or 9.something.
Also, are you performing this operation from the Laserfiche desktop Client or Web Access?
Just to confirm, can the user in question update metadata directly through the Laserfiche desktop Client or Web Access if you don't go through the Office plugin?
Okay...We are working with Laserfiche 9.2.0.343. We are using the desktop client. And the user can approve it in the Client.
Hi Chynna,
I would recommend you double check the template and fields security for the user. Do you try the same template and fields assigning to the same document in Client?
Thanks,
Qinmei
This field is an add on field. It's not part of any template. Here is the security I have. It works for others but not this one. Could it be possible the add ins or having trouble working. This user does have other add-ins for excel to work for accounting.
Hi Chynna,
Please open a support case for the issue.
