Does anyone know whether is possible, using a combination of Quick Field and Workflow, copy a page out of a document that contains a certain barcode value, e.g. if the page has a barcode with the value 'SIGNATURE' into a new separate document in the repository?

We have a case with this particular request, my thinking was start by using Quick Field to detect the barcode and determine which page number it is on, retrieve the page number and put it into a metadata field, once the document has been stored to repository a workflow will trigger and copy that particular page with the barcode based on the page number stored in that field. I have been looking for ways to retrieve the page number in Quick Field but without success, so I am not sure whether my solution is viable at all.
