LFF347-InvalidAnswersUrl when try to connect Forms with Discussions (VARKIT)

In try to connect my Varkit Forms with my Discussions but never let the url pass

 

I just get this error: LFF347-InvalidAnswersUrl

 

I try by computer name, localhost, ip and do not work.

 

Any ideas...

This has been fixed in Forms 10.1 update 1, you can download the update from https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/kbarticle.aspx?articleid=1013775

Hi Gerardo,

Can you get a screenshot showing the URL that you have entered into the FormsConfig page? Make sure it doesn't include "http:" or "https:" as the protocol will be prepended to whatever you enter in behind the scenes. You would just enter

//[server]/Discussions

If that isn't the issue, then please open a support case so we can further investigate.

For any who encounter this behavior:

A case was opened with Support and the issue discovered: this is a bug (SCR 144094) in new installations of Forms 10.1. A particular database entry is not created, which causes this error.

To work around the issue, the entry can be created manually. In the cf_options table of the Forms database, add an entry with optionname 'AnswersServerURL'. You should be able to save the Discussions URL from the Forms Configuration page afterward.
