Quick Fields date token format change

asked on May 17, 2016 Show version history

Hello,

I upgraded Quick Fields from 8.3 to 9 and found the token format seems to have changed. For example, the current month formatted token was %(Date,"MM") which is now invalid. Now the formatting is %(Date#"MM"#).

The problem is I have almost a hundred Quick Fields sessions that are using the old formatting method in the document storage path. Do I have to edit each classification in each session one by one or is there any other way around that?

Thanks!

The change was necessary to support the expanded formatting options. The session files are XML, so you can open them in a text editor like Notepad++ and search for the old value and replace it with the new one.

Thanks, Notepad++ has the option of Find and Replace in all open documents so that makes it more manageable.
