Hi Kirrubananthan,

Were you able to find a resolution for this?

I'm working with a client that is also running into a similar issue with Office 2013 (from Office 2007) and sending Word Docs in emails from LF.

We've tried a client repair, uninstall/re-install, and even did a hotfix install (to 9.1.1 SP2) which still did not resolve.

Hi Aharon,

Office 2013 and earlier versions are working perfect in Laserfiche 9.

I would suggest uninstall both Office and Laserfiche client, then reinstall in the order. It must work fine.

1. Uninstall Laserfiche Client

2. Un-install and re-install MS Office

3. Re-boot

4. Install Laserfiche Client

5. Re-boot

Hi Kirrubananthan,

If you have upgraded office, I would recommend at least running a repair on the Laserfiche client installation but preferably an uninstall and re-install of the LF client. Give that a bash and see if that resolves your issue.

Good luck! smileyyes

Is UAC running? Try turning it off and rebooting or by making the user local admin.

I have UAC disabled (slider bar all the way down, and I checked that the registry setting for EnableLUA is 0).  I am a local admin on my laptop.

You need to be running Lasefiche version 10.1 in order for LF to work with Office 2016.

We are in the testing phase, pre rollout, for Office 2013.  We did not go with 2016 at this time due to issues with other applications we use not being ready for it, and not wanting to do a full scale Laserfiche upgrade at the same time.  I have a co-worker who had the same issue with the same setup as me, and he got it to work with Office 2013, but unfortunately does not remember the last step he did to make it work.  He did the repair and re-install of LF, but not the hotfix for our version of the client.  I can try a repair of Office 2013 on mine to see if that changes anything.

When it comes to plug-ins, it's important to do things in the right order.

1. Un-install and re-install MS Office

2. Re-boot

3. Un-install and re-install Laserfiche Client

4. Re-boot

Then try to reproduce the issue.

Also, there are 2 flags for the office add-in to load at startup in the registry. One in HKCU and one in HKLM. In here you can set the load behavior to 3 which means load at office startup.

Using Outlook as an example:-

& for X64 bit office

Good luck! yessmiley
