My client has an issue with workflow email settings. They are trying to get workflow to pull from the global address list from a separate server. All it shows is the actual server which LF is stored, not the email server. Is there a way for workflow to see the server that has the global list so they do not have to type in each user every time they make a new workflow?

If you have an Active Directory or eDirectory server for your global list, you can add it to the possible trustee directories.
In the Designer, you can go to "Tools -> Configure Trustee Directories -> Manage" to add new LDAP Trustee directories. Once a server is added there you should be able to retrieve users from it for your email activities. You can also configure new Trustee Directories in the Workflow Administration Console under 'External Objects.'
