Workflow wont OCR PDF file

Running a scheduler and just testing it to run on a folder.  4 files have none OCR and it pulls the count correct.

But the workflow just completes and the files aren't OCRed.  

I also can't select the PDF in the repository and OCR either.  They all have Laserfiche pages generated.  The only way I can OCR is if I drag out the PDF and re-drop it.

Is there a way to force the workflow to OCR the file?  I don't want to manually drag drop 6000 files.

Through Schedule OCR, you mean? That activity is only for image documents. There are no PDF page generation capabilities in Workflow.

If the document contains TIFFs will it still not work because the primary document is PDF?

That would work. Have you checked the event log in DCC for any errors? Are the page a regular size and resolution? Do they OCR through the Client?

They dont OCR through the client.  It's rather odd.  They only OCR if I pull the PDF out and redrop it.

Probably best if you send a briefcase with a sample doc to Tech Support at this point.
