My client is experiencing issues with web access, recently they started not being able to drag and drop into web access, all their web browsers just open the document up instead. And when they import documents manually in web access, it shows them as importing text files, and imports them that way even though they are clearly(in this case) PDFs. They are even stored as txt files according to laserfiche, and can't generate pages on them. I have checked and the file is with the pdf extension. They are on web access 8.3.2. This happens to multiple users, and the full client works normally. I'm going to clear their attributes, but I wanted to know of any other tips that might be suggested.

Drag and drop support was added to Web Access 9, see this related question.
Hi Ricardo,
Can you check if the pdf extension is added to the file conversion list? I can reproduce the issue if I add PDF to the conversion list.
The corresponding attribute for the list is [Settings]ImportConversionList. Check the attribute on a user that can reproduce the issue, and also on the Everyone group.
It was not added to the list but I put it in there the same issue happens. I also cleared their attributes beforehand.
It shouldn't be in the conversion list. That was the only way I was able to reproduce the issue internally- by listing PDF in the ImportConversionList.
If you've confirmed that the issue still happens when PDF isn't specified in the ImportConversionList attribute on indivudal users or the everyone group, I'd recommend opening a support case so we can perform more detailed troubleshooting. Reproduce the issue with the event logging set to information and attach a sample of the events to the support case.
