No starting step found

Hi,

I have developed a four step process that I need to deploy to a different server. On deploying I get the error that "No starting step found". I get this error when I try to open the initial form. The process has three other forms whichare opened ok apart from the starting one. I get the same error when I try to submit the form. What may cause this. This is Forms 10. Image attached

Hi Miruna,

Thanks for the response. I attach herein the process image. I however realized that the issue is related to another question I posted at the same time with this one.

I believe that on creating a process in a higher version 10.1 you will not be able to run it on version 10.0. Can you confirm this for me. If that's the case then how can we resolve this

Correct, you can't transfer processes from a higher version to an older version of the software.

For this "No starting step found" error, you can go to process diagram and save the process again, the the process will be saved with 10.0's format and will be able to run with 10.0.

Hi Xiang,

Thanks for the update. I however resolved it by changing the starting forms to another one, saving the process and then returning the starting form again and saving it.
