Question

Can a user log into LF client manually while on another users desktop?

asked on May 5, 2016

Here is my situation:

We have a summer student.  She has not been assigned a company Windows account yet, so I cannot create her profile in LF using Windows Accounts.  Our IT person is on holidays, so I suggested she log into the LF client using the name and password of the person she is working under.  When we tried, it kept saying the password was wrong.

Is the problem because she was logged onto that computer as one person and was trying to log into LF as another person?  Can this not be done?

You can login with the domain notation. So basically, uncheck Windows authentication and login as DOMAIN\username and their normal domain password.

Okay, thanks John!

What I was missing was the DOMAIN part.  As soon as I tried it with our company domain before the user name, it worked!  Awesome!
