LF 9.1.1 Scanning error on 64 bit Windows 7

asked on May 5, 2016

Hello,

I am trying to use a Fujitsu fi6130z scanner on a new 64-bit Windows 7 computer.  I am getting the error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" when trying to scan anything in Laserfiche 9.1.1 service pack 1. I have tried using the PaperStream IP (TWAIN) 1.30.0.5032 and PaperStream IP (TWAIN x64) 1.30.0.5032 driver.

The same scanner on a 32-bit Windows 7 computer without any problems.

Has anyone encountered this?

Can you make sure you have the OCR engine installed:  https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1013673

The Laserfiche OCR with OmniPage 18.5 is already installed on the workstation. I tried re-installing it but still cannot scan anything.

Can you post the full text of the message?
Do you get the same message when scanning with either scan mode (basic or standard)?
Do you get the same message when scanning using Universal Capture?
