Error When Switching Message Start Event with Start Event

I have a test process setup and attempted to delete the default Message Start Event and then add a Start Event and connect to a user task. I then clicked the save button in the process diagram and received the following error message:

We are using Forms 10.1.0.559.

Hi Blake,

I was unable to reproduce it. Is your process set up before 10.1? Can you check what error logged in the events log? And can you reproduce it if you export the process then import the process?
