Configuring Email Approval Settings Problems - LOGIN Failed

I am trying to configure the Email Approval Server tab in the Laserfiche Forms Server Configuartion page.

I was able to finally figure out our IMAP server configuration to allow direct approvals. However, in the Email Approval Server settings, i am getting the error message "The test email failed because: LOGIN failed."

Now i know i have the mailbox inputted correctly as well as the password. I suspect the IMAP server (our exchange 2010 server) is wanting the authentication in the form of "domain\username" not "username@domain.sk.ca"

Any ideas anyone?

Hi Evan,

Unfortunately in current Forms version Email approval server cannot accept "domain\username", but we will consider this use-case in future release.

Forms 10.2 now support set the user name with the format in domain\username when configure Email Approval Server:
