Hi Mohamed,

What is the exact version of the Laserfiche Server being used? There should be a corresponding message in the Event Viewer Application log.

Hi Mohamed,

The search engine error log is under "Windows Logs - Application". You can look into error/warning messages of which source is "LFFTS" when you encounter the problem. It may be easier to use filter to locate them.

Here is an example screenshot.

Those messages might be helpful to solve your issues. If the problem cannot be resolved, please contact your VAR about opening a support case for this.

You are looking at the Workflow log. The log you would look at is the Application log under Windows logs.

That being said, try stopping the Laserfiche Full Text Indexing and Search Engine service. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\LFFTS\Database in the Registry and delete the BADEArep key. Once that's done, go into the Windows directory where your repository is located and delete the SEARCH folder. Now restart the Laserfiche Full Text Indexing and Search Engine service and go back into the Admin Console and try to create a new catalog.
