Is supporting Connector over Citrix being considered at this point?I see in the Laserfiche Connector Help File that "Remote terminal clients" are currently not supported.

Thank you

Remote terminal clients in this case means that Connector can't be used to pull data into a remote desktop session. That is, if Connector is running on your local machine, it couldn't read data from inside a remote session. Connector can be used within a remote session just fine, it just can't cross through.

The idea here is that Connector must be installed on the same machine that the application you are using it with is installed. So in this case, the Citrix snapshot.

Hi, it's 6/15/17 and I'm still seeing that LF Connector 10.2 is still not supporting remote terminal sessions. Is this still the case? Any future outlook for providing this support? I'm wondering if they should install the Connector application into her image files for their Xenapp  6.5 servers. Is that supported?

Interesting, so would Connector be installed on the user's local machine, or would it be installed on the Citrix machine? (sorry if "installed on the Citrix machine" is the wrong terminology, my only experience with Citrix has been using applications, not installing them.

Thanks Justin!

i'm thinking Connector would have to be installed on the Citrix host server. and then published as an app for end users. But in that situation, how will that affect licensing Connector with LF if the citrix host image is replicated to 3 or 5 other host servers?

You only need a Connector license to use the profile creation wizard. The runtime can be installed throughout the site.

So long as Connector is running on the terminal itself, this should be fine.
