Does anyone know if there is white paper on Naming Conventions? Looking to upgrade our folder structure and I want to make sure we keep everything standard.

Hi Chynna,
To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a specific white paper for naming conventions because best practices revolves around a set of principles that can be flexible for different types of organizations and industry verticals.
If you would like to see examples of how other organizations organize their content according to best practices I would recommend going to the Laserfiche Solutions Exchange. There you can find write ups of different use-cases and how Laserfiche was implemented with best practices in mind. A lot of the articles will also include pictures to help illustrate the example, below are a few links to help you get started. I hope this helps.
Records Series Folder Structure
depends on what you are storing. if it's anything with a date, I always stick to "YYYY-MM DD - etc...."
If it's a document, that will depend on maybe how you want to organize it, visually. maybe by the document name, then by date or reference number or check number. it really all depends on what is clear to you. good luck.
