Feature Request: If template name changes, Forms should auto-detect the change and rename it in Process Modeler

Steps:

Create a template with some fields
Open the Forms Process Modeler and map form fields to the template fields inside a Store to Repository activity
Rename the template in the Admin Console

Forms freaks out and makes you re-pick the template. What's worse is that ALL the fields you mapped previously (of which there can be 50+) get wiped out and you have to re-map them again.

It seems to me the mapping should be based on template ID rather than template name. That way if you change the template name Forms just updates itself.

I'm about to do this rename and remap. Do you know if there is a workaround?

This is due to the implementation of repository access that when setting template or field values to an entry, names are used instead of ids.

It actually makes things easier in some senarios because the templates and fields are not strongly bind to a repository. It works as long as the name matches.

Okay, that makes sense. Could you at least make it so that selecting a new template (i.e. the renamed template) doesn't wipe out all of your dataset mappings? Really, if two templates share the same field, Forms should keep the dataset value for that field when the template is changed.
