Open an office file on Android APP

Hi

When we try to access office files (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) on an Android phone (5.1.1)  we get permission denied, when we try to open the same file with same user but on an Iphone, the file open.

Hi Ricardo,

Laserfiche Android app's doc viewer does not support viewing Word, Excel, PPT,  those edoc have to be exported to other available apps to view, please enable export right for the user, and also make sure your App Server Configuration page\Security section allow exporting document other apps.

Hi Ricardo,

 

I've got a free version of Microsoft  Word on my Android tablet which allows me to read documents. My app has two compatible apps (see screen shot). I can open the doc on my android phone too.

 

I've not tested editing yet.
