Web Access 10.1 - Internet Explorer hangs - meta-data dynamic lookup field

asked on April 22, 2016

Hi,

Laserfiche Web Access 10.1.0.203, Laserfiche Repository Access 10.1.0.119, Internet Explorer 11.0.9600

In a template with meta-data dynamic lookup field, Internet Explorer stops responding, eventually you see at the bottom of the page a "is not responding" with the Recover webpage button. Click on Recover webage, then, you get windows not responding pop-up with following details:

Same thing after adding the site to IE's compatibility view.

No problem in Google Chrome 49.0.2623.

Any one else have Web Access 10.1 and Internet Explorer 11 hang in a meta-data dynamic lookup field?

Thanks, Dave.

Just to add to this (we work together) the dynamic field is about 3k records. also it happens in Edge as well, except it doesn't crash, just spins forever.

Did you try the same with less number of records? If it works then there has to be some sort of memory limitation in IE.

It was working two days ago before we installed 10.1

I will see if we have any smaller lists.
