Question

Confirmed application by connector

asked on April 21, 2016 Show version history

Dears,

  • JD Edwards are confirmed for the connector or not ?

As we can see in the below URL (laserfiche Connector 9.1):

 https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/LaserficheConnector/9.1/en-US/UserGuide/#ConfirmedApplications.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____8

JD Edwards are confirmed

But from the latest version connector 10  JD Edwards are not confirmed as we can see in the below URl

https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-us/administration/Default.htm#../Subsystems/Connector/Content/ConfirmedApplications.htm%3FTocPath%3DConnector%7C_____8

Also the Externally confirmed application between the connector 9.1 and the 10 are not the same we can see application confirmed in the previous version 9.1 and are not mentioned in the latest version 10

Please check and advice

Thank you

The list has been restored now. My apologies! Applications that work with Connector version 9.1 should also work with version 10. As Dan mentioned, it's always best to use the Test Utility to double-check Connector works with your setup.

Hi Roy,

I'm not entirely sure what the reason is for some applications being removed from the list (maybe they just haven't been tested yet?) But what you could do is download the Laserfiche Connector Test Utility from the link below and test whether the functionality you need still works:

I hope this helps!

Hi Roy and Daniel,

Good catch! There's actually no reason behind those being ommited in the version 10 docs - it's just a documentation glitch. They'll be re-added back and, in general, we haven't had any scenario where something was on the list in an earlier version that we felt we had to pull in a later ver

It seems some of the previous application are not mentioned in the latest version.

I'm not seeing any applications from the 9 documentation not now mentioned in the 10 documentation. What are you seeing that's still missing? Note that you may need to ctrl-f5 refresh the help page to ensure it's not caching the old version.
