Agenda Manager 9 errors

I have installed AM on my Win 10 Pro laptop which in itself was quite an accomplishment. I have it running now and am getting the following error when trying to submit and save.

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ad'

ActiveX component can't create object

/AMServer/ViewSubmitEditItem.asp, line 258

Anyone have an idea??

Microsoft Edge does not support ActiveX controls. Turn on the option to run the site in Internet Explorer or use a different browser.

I am running chrome and IE on the laptop is there a spot in IIS or elsewhere to turn on this option?

I have followed the instructions both items were already enabled. Still get this error.
