Forms Task Feature Requests - Searchable Values, Custom Columns

Hello,

I would like to request an update to the tasks page on forms as it has been highly requested among customers across my many demos.

 

On the tasks page currently you are unable to search values for instance if you are looking for a specific PO within your tasks even if enabled and visible within the Forms10 summary values are not searchable from the tasks search pane. 

The other request is that there should be a possibility to allow fields to be enabled as a specific column for instance again the PO so that a user can see the list of tasks and meta information such as PO Number, HR Request #, Student ID and the other typically data types.

I feel these feature additions will help improve some of the core functionality within the tasks pane and improve overall day to day usability for frequent users.

Supports adding field variable as column in tasks list is already in our feature requests list, but there is no clear plan yet for when will it be implemented.

 

In Forms 10, you can search based on Task name/Instance name/user's name in the tasks list. And for Instance name you can customize it to include the field variables from publish options page.

If not able to add Variables to the Column, to be able to control the defining Black Text that appears below the Blue Process Step using token based naming.

Hi Xiuhong,

 

Thank you the naming may help with resolve the issue somewhat but adding column flexibility with metadata would still be very preferential as it will be more in line with the values represented in the overall ECM.

I would also like to note it would be nice if there was some flexibility around masking forms values as well as order for the Summary Tab when looking at a process. The Value_Name needing underscores and the inability to sort them in a order holds the summary back somewhat.
