We have a process running on an entry for more than one year is a very long process, when we try to make a query in the designer not have any result. But if we go to document and consulted if the business process panel we see that is running; but when we perform the action that in theory should complete the step that is nothing happens. We believe that it’s on this step because we have a history field on this document that is updated according the actions are completed.

 

The question is how we can confirm the wf step that this document is at this moment?

How are you searching in Workflow Designer?  By workflow name? By active workflows?  One problem I have encountered is that when I have a workflow with a lot of activities, I will try to open the instance and it stalls out because it can't retrieve all the activity messages.

 

Have you looked at running processes in Workflow Admin Console to see if you can see it running?
