Question

Cannot use keyboard short cuts during online training courses

asked on April 7, 2016

I am working  toward getting my Laserfiche Gold CPP certification.

During some of the training modules we are required to assign keyboard short cuts for Client interface actions.

However these do not work when attempting to apply using windos 8.2 Pro.

My concern is that when I take the exam and a simulator question arises asking to use keyboard short cuts, they will not work and I can potentially fail the test.

Has anyone else experienced this?

 Thanks for your input

Yes we have the same experience with our team taking CPP, in fact we could not continue with the course (Capture) for the same reason, tried different options in vain, no response when you press the right answer (key combination e.g. Alt + Down ) and it respond when you press the wrong keys ( e.g. Ctrl + Down) by telling you are wrong try again, then counts you to have failed if you force to continue to the next step.  (We have Windows 8 and 10 Pro OS )Any help on this?

Thank you for reporting this issue! We will review the courses.

For future courses being built, we will keep this in mind to avoid the same problem.

Seems like the problem might be browser specific. I am able to use the shortcuts in Google Chrome, but not in IE. I have tested and were able to complete the keyboard shortcuts lesson without any hassles.

The CPP team is getting ready to publish another course and this is in our immediate backlog.  We expect to resolve the issue sometime next week.  We will update this post the issue has been resolved.  Thank you for your patience!
