Hello everyone!
I have a strange sort of circumstances which leads me to a question.
We have an integration between our ERP and Laserfiche. As part of this integration, the ERP system performs searches against a LF repository. Having the vendor change their code is a difficult proposition...
So, we are in the process of upgrading the last of our repositories from LF7 to LF9. We found that the two versions handle search syntax errors slightly differently, and were wondering if there was work-around.
The issue we found is that the integration is searching for dates as part of a complex search. The criteria, however, has a space prepended to the date. LF7 happily ignored the space; LF9 returns an error. {[INVOICES]:[INVOICE DATE]=" 04/01/2016"} works in LF7 and fails in LF9.
Any thoughts on a workaround? (Other than changing the integration code, which is unlikely)
Thanks!
