api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing

I have a customer that is upgrading to LF 10 and they have 3 PCs that after upgrading the client are having problems running LF client 10.  When they run the client on those PCs, it throws a system error and the client will not start.

When I research that error, it indicates that the problem is with the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.  The customer tried to reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 and it runs for about 20 minutes and after it completes, they have the same problem.

 

Any ideas?

Are the VC++ 14 runtime libraries installed? Please make sure the machine has all the windows updates installed then try again.
