Turn off email notification in Forms

Is there a way that a user can turn off email notification in Forms please? That way, if they are a task participant, they dont want to get thousands of email notifications.

Using Forms 9 or 10?

If using 10, when you create the User Task, look under the Assign tab to make sure that the Notifications is unchecked and they should not get an email, it will just show up in the Task Inbox.

We are using Laserfiche Forms Version 9.2.0.853

Under the User Task, Notifications tab, you can uncheck the "Email task participants when this task is ready," see below:

Can individual users turn this email on and off please as a part of their Forms profile? Or does this only have the feature to turn off email notification to all task participants please?

The notification can only be turned off per task not per user.
