Can I get examples of the Syntax for the Laserfiche Forms and Directory Server setting in the Mobile Configuration page? I have tried everything and the Forms URL won't save and the Directory Server Site and Org have a red circle over them that is crossed out.

configuring forms server in mobile version 10
Answer
What is the full version of your Directory Server? You must be on at least 10.0.0.196, and I recommend applying Update 1, if you haven't already.
If you are already on the latest version, looking at the error, it could be an issue with the Endpoint configuration for Directory Server. This is easily fixed by running the XML Endpoint Utility.
All you should have to do is open the utility and click "Save". This step is necessary if you've changed the service user after installing Directory Server to retrieve the new SPN and save it to the config file.
The utility is located under C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Directory Server by default:
When you run the utility (double click, or if UAC is enabled, right click and run as administrator), it should automatically be filled out based the user your Directory Server service is running as.
For example, if you are running as Network Service, it will be blank, like so:
And if your service is running as a domain user, such as ExampleDoman\exampleUser, it will look like this:
As mentioned above, you only need to click "save" once it opens to update the settings with the new automatically configured settings.

Hello Nick,
May I know what error you're receiving?
For Forms an example would be,
So if your Forms server is installed on a machine named: myserver.laserfiche.com
http://myserver.laserfiche.com/Forms/
For Laserfiche Directory Server
If your Laserfiche Directory Server is installed on a machine called: MyLFDSServerName
Server Name: MyLFDSServerName
Hope this helps
Regards,
ok, so I was finally able to get back to this and I was still having an issue with the laserfiche directory server portion. I tried just about everything under the sun and couldn't get it. most of the time it would just tell me it was incorrect but this was the only instance where I got a message such as this. I'm still not sure if this is an incorrect syntax or is something not configured correctly on the other end since it's talking about failed authentication? the required fields are empty because it would not allow me to put anything in there.
What version of the Mobile Server would you be on? if you're on 10.0.0.282 please upgrade your mobile server to 10.0.0.402 here and see if the LFDS issue still persists.
Hi Andrew,
I looked and they are on the newest version of mobile, any other ideas? to me, it looks like the right thing is being put in but it's having trouble authenticating for whatever reason? I could be way off the mark there, but I'm just going off of the message it give in the screenshot.

Brianna,
I applied update 1 and ran the endpoint configuration utility and that did the trick. Thanks for all the help!

Have you configured everything else above it (like the "Repositories, Repository settings)?
If not, please do that first from the top down, then try the Forms URL again. Note that the URL is case sensitive (http or https://formsserver.laserfiche.com/Forms/
If you are using an SSL certificate, it has to match the name on the certificate.
