I would like to add specific names to a search field name section (option tag). For example, in the repository there are images with stock #'s and I would like users to be able to select the field (stock #) and enter the data to search for that specifically. It seems that this is part of a search form. Please see attached screenshot of what I am referring to.

Question
How to customize search field names? Adding names, deleting names...
Answer
Not exactly. Rights can be set directly on fields and templates from the administration console to allow access to them only for certain users/groups. This is done to protect fields like social security number or other confidential fields from most users. If these fields were set up such that the WebLink user didn't have access, they wouldn't show up in the search drop down.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, it would probably be best to open a support case so we can look into your configuration and find the issue.

Could you describe the problem you are trying to solve in a little more detail. From what I understand about your post, if you scroll down in that field name drop down to 'Stock #', that should provide an input box for users to search by that value. All of the metadata fields you have in your repository should be included in this fields list.
It seems that all the metadata is not included in the drop-down field box and stock # is one field that should be included, but it doesn't appear. Why is it not showing, how do I resolve this issue?
If you sign in to Web Access or the Client with the same user, can you run a field search on that field? It could be that the user doesn't have rights to view that information.
What field type is 'Stock #'? I would guess a number field in which case it should be there in that list.
Are any of your other fields missing from that drop down or is 'Stock #' the only one?
Is 'Stock #' part of a template? If so, can you see if that field appears when that template is selected?
How are these fields generated b/c metadata is being left out? For example, I have a template (Nash Stock Card 2) with the following metadata (stock #, vehicle year, vehicle make, vehicle model, tow date/time, VIN, Case Number, VTR number), but the following (case number, VTR number) are only visible in the WebLink portal field drop-down category. I selected a template that should have stock # as a field, but it does not. I will check permissions. It seems that if I permitted rights to access all the folders, would not the user be able to access all the fields connected with those folders?
Note: Stock # is a number field and in the Client that field is included as metadata.
