When using just standard single line fields:

Do I need to use the SUM function for addition and subtraction: EX: =SUM(field1,-field2)

or can i use:

=field1-field2

Hi Chase, if you don't use Sum when doing additions, you may see errors when only one of the fields is filled that is being added, additionally, you will get a error when submitting your form if any of the fields used in your Addition is empty.
