Question

configure web access 10

asked on March 21, 2016

Hi,

I recently updated my laserfiche rio 9.2.1 to 10. I'm now trying to configure the web access general services. In the section where we have to enter the url of the Laserfice Directory server STS i keep having this error :

"The Laserfiche Directory Server's address does not match the value specified in the license:Myserver.Mydomain.local."

When we updated the directory server we created a self signed certificat and activated the SSL. The url i use to enter in this section is :  https://myserver.mydomain.local/LFDSSTS/ . I tried to add the port 5048 or 5049  and it did not help.
Note that the web acces and the directory server are not on the same virtual machine. At this point i dont know what i did wrong and i think i need advice.

Thank you.

If you are not using single sign on, leave the section blank.

For those of us that do want to use SSO, can you explain how to fix this error? Telling people to leave it blank if not using SSO is not exactly an 'Answer' to the original question.

We have a customer that is getting this same message and wants Single Sign on.

Thanks

Hi

We are having the same issue in our environment. Does someone have tips on how this can be resolved. We want to configure SSO but we are getting this error.

Did you re-register Web Access already?  Try the following:  Go to the Directory server, unregister the Web Access server listed there.  Once you do that, register it again.  After that, generate the lf.licx from that new registration then place the lf.licx file in the Web Access folder using Windows explorer. Make sure it replaces any lf.licx file found in that folder.  After that, restart the Web Access application pool, restart the Web Access config page and try configuring Web Access again.

Are you using or trying to configure Single-sign on with Web Access?

I dont think it is configured but i can tell you that our laserfiche pool are using Anonymous authentication and windows authentication. Just to be sure, can you confirm that this url is good if i replace the first part of it by my contextual information. I'm a bit worried because when i try to reach this url in a browser a blank page appear.
