Question

Stop a workflow without designer

asked on March 18, 2016

I have a client that has a workflow (it was for practice purposes) that every time they drop a document in their repository, it gets sent to a folder. The laptop with WF designer won't be back until next week. Is there a way to terminate the workflow without the designer?

If you have access to the Workflow server, you could stop the Workflow Server and/or Workflow Subscriber services.  That being said, I'm sure the WF Designer is installed on the WF server.  Or you could install the WF Designer on another pc, and stop the workflows that way.

You can install the Designer on a different machine, there are no limits on the number of the Designer installations.
