Quick Fields: OmniPage Zone OCR

Can the OmniPage Zone OCR feature in Quick Fields read white font?  If so, are there any special settings I need to select in order to make it work?  I've tried running the session and haven't had any values returned to use as token for other processing steps.

Well, if it's a pdf that is being converted it might be in the text if the text is converted. But if scanned or snapshotted into laserfiche there's nothing to read because it's looking at the image. White font on white background = nothing.

Do you mean a white font on a dark background? If so yes it can. There's even an option in image processing that let's you reverse the colors. I've used it in certain situations because a white on black ocr'd better than black on white.

Okay, thanks.  I've actually printed white font on a white page and was hoping to read it for metadata look ups.
