Has anyone tried using regular expression with java script?

I'm trying to format my social security on a form ex: 123-45-6789. But I want it to automatically format the field if the user just types 123456789 and not give them an error.

Hi Chynna,

If you want Forms to automatically add hyphens while a user types in a SSN, you can use field masks as described in the Forms help files.
