Question

Can you change or delete the automatic log off after inactive?

asked on March 14, 2016

I have Client 9.2 open all day long.  Sometime I am not active in it because I am working in Workflow or Quick Fields (or other tasks).  I used to get a warning every 30 minutes that I was inactive and did I want to stay logged in.

Must have been a couple months ago that the warning disappeared and Client just logs me out without warning.  This gets to be annoying for multiple reasons but mostly because then I have to rechoose the repository and navigate back to the area I was in.

Can anyone tell me how to either get my warning back or more preferably turn off the time out?  I would only want to turn off the time out for me since I am back and forth in it all day.  For my typically user that is only in it once and a while, the time out is fine.

Thanks.

you can disable it in the Admin Console > Settings > Logout Automatically

Unfortunately you cannot disable it for a single user.  Its a global settings for all users within that specific repository.

Thanks.  I will have to think about if  I want to turn it off for everyone or not.  Do you know if there is a way to at least get the warning box back?
