The System Encountered an Error and Could Not Complete Your Request

When browsing to a folder in WebLink using a URL on a computer, there is no problem accessing it. However, if using an iOS device it gives an error message saying that the system encountered an error and could not complete your request. I have checked the event logs on the server and have not found any entries when the error happens. Any ideas what would cause this?

We are using WebLink 9.0.1.275.

Hello, We have another client receivng this issue as well. I get the same error on Android and IOS devices. A support case has been opened with Laserfiche. Has anyone else seen this issue before?

I am seeing this as well in 2019.  Documents are fine when opened from a PC, but system error occurs when trying to access them using Weblink and an Android.

Looking forward to hearing any new developments.

A workaround that seems to help most of the time (on the Android):

While the "System Encountered an Error" message is displayed, go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner and expand that menu.  Choose to go to to the desktop site.

The document you were trying to access should open up.
