Laserfiche licensing - Audit Trail

Hi, 

I've question re the installation of audit trail database. 

I've a Laserfiche Rio with SQL server license for X number of users. Customer wants to use Audit Trail feature for reporting purpose.

Is it possible to create Audit trail database in sql express on a separate server and have other component db's running on a sql server.

The license restriction only apply to the Laserfiche Repository Database, if a customer purchase Avante SQL Express, then it can only use SQL Express as DBMS to host the Repository Database, Audit trail does not have the same restriction , regardless if the Laserfiche Server is only license for SQL Express, it can work with Full SQL Server.

Hi Arman,

 

Yes you can. The license restriction is only on Avante for SQL Express (which you can only use on SQL Express obviously). Any other combination is OK.
