Updating Laserfcihe 8 to10

Hello,

 

I read the "Upgrade to Laserfiche 10" white paper, but I just want to be sure. For now, I use Laserfiche 8. Can I just install the laserfiche server 10 without uninstalling Laserfiche 8 or no ?

Hi Moana,

Yes you should be able to install Server 10 without uninstalling version 8. However, do note that everything will be updated in place, so it would be a good idea to back up the volumes and especially the databases before running the installer; if something is corrupted during the upgrade, you would need the backups to try again. There are other warnings in the linked help file.
