Mobile opening files slowly

We have a client that uses Mobile and they are having troubles with opening files in mobile taking at minimum 30 seconds to open the file.

I tested on my android Galaxy S5 with one of their accounts and it opened instantly.

But I've seen on site with them opening the files and have seen the lag time.

When I do it on my phone on the other hand. I have almost no issues with accessing the files in a timely matter. I was wondering if there have been any previous known issues with IPads and communication with the repository? Versus some other platforms that are working quickly as expected.

Hello Chase,

There have been no known issues with iPads or communication issues with the Laserfiche Server.

1) For devices that do see this issue, what kind of devices are they? (Ex: iPad 2, iPad air, iPhone5, iPhone 6s, etc)

2) What is the Laserfiche Mobile Server Version?

3) What is the Laserfiche Mobile App Version that is seeing this issue?

4) What is the Laserfiche Mobile App Version on your Galaxy S5?

Sorry I was able to go on site yesterday and get the information for you:

IPad Mini 3, version 8.3 (12F69) Model (MGGQ2LL/A)

Mobile Server version: 9.2.1.293

Mobile Application Version: 10.0.0.618

On my Android,

Mobile App Version: 10.0.0.536

Hello Chase,

1) For the files that you are attempting to view, what are the dimension sizes?

2) Does this occur for all types of image files?

we're suspecting that it may be because the dimensions of the files you're viewing at large, so we also want to see if the issue also persists if you view files that are smaller in dimensions.

2550 x 3300 yes they are quite large. Yes it happens for all the image files but they are mostly identical to this.

I will test with a much smaller dimension.

Hey Andrew,

Jumped back on this issue again. Do you know where to set the resolution when saving a form to the repository? The current setting at 2550x3300 @ 300x300 DPI.

The TIFF size is only 152.94 KB though. This shouldn't be an issue with a T1 network they are running on getting ~1.5 MEGS.
