Laserrepository 10 attaching mdf issue

Im getting an error when attaching the DBs saying that the DBs is read-only and cannot be modified. Im logged in the SSMSE as SA user.

sql version is:

Microsoft SQL Server 2014 - 12.0.4100.1 (X64)
   Apr 20 2015 17:29:27
   Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
   Express Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.3 <X64> (Build 9600: ) (Hypervisor)

Nope Tommy, I dont have a DB of the same name that i was trying to attach. A googled the answer, basically editing the folder properties of where the MDF & LDF is located, give the windows user ( currently logged on) with at least read & execute permission.

If you are attaching, then why does the error state that it cannot be upgraded? Maybe you already have a database with the same name attached? try attaching it in a different sql instance or server.
