I am having an issue where if a scan session is started by LF Connector, the metadata is not being stored to the repository with the scanned document. The scan application is LF 10.0.0.900. Connector is properly extracting the account number from the third party application and entering it into the appropriate metadata field in the scan utility, the document is stored into the proper folder in the repository, but the metadata field that was populated in the scanning client is now empty. I have also tried manually typing other fields and once the document is stored, those fields are stripped as well.

Hi Glenn,
Does the template contain dynamic fields? I've seen a couple cases go by where there is sometimes confusion in scanning with dynamic fields. Also, are you scanning into the desktop Client or Web Access?
Hello Justin,
Yes, the template does contain dynamic fields. I am scanning into the Web Access scan client. I did create a new profile utilizing the desktop scan client and the metadata fields do store properly. However, the problem that I have with going that route is that it will not allow for logging in using Windows credentials. I get the error message below. Is there a "fix" that will allow this?
Error logging with Windows credentials is a known issue in Connector 9.1: If a profile is configured to prompt for login information when scanning in the Laserfiche Client, and the user enters Windows account credentials instead of Laserfiche account credentials, Laserfiche Scanning will encounter an error. Change the profile to use Windows authentication if users will be logging in with their Windows account credentials.
