Web Access 10 error: "can only bin dates in the past"

This error means the time stamp for the BP entity is in the future, as if the LF/WF/WA servers don't agree on the current time (by a lot).

That's interesting. This is a VM environment, and the VM's timestamp is 2 hours behind that of the host.

Why would LF/WF/WA use different timestamps though? They're all on the same VM.

They should be UTC. Are you running the business process late in the day? If you run it late in the day, UTC will make it look like it happened in the future.

Looking at the code, it could be a timezone issue. WA translates the event time from UTC to the user's timezone, but it looks like the binning (into "today", "yesterday", etc) may be based on the server's timezone. If the user is ahead of the server by enough you might see this (though I haven't tried to reproduce it).
