Hi,

I setup a LF Import folder on our network.  I setup the LF Import Agent to only import documents from the folder for about 30 minutes.  I was expecting the importing of the document to stop after 30 minutes.  However the LF Import kept importing the documents.  I specified Tuesday 9:30 AM  - Tuesday 10:00 AM but it continued pull documents after the 30 minute duration.   There were about 200,000 documents in the folder when it started at the designated time of 9:30 AM which it did start importing at that beginning timeframe.

We are wondering if the 30 minutes represents the fact that it 'finds' all documents that were in the network directory initially and thus assumes we continue to import all these documents 'found' in the directory when it first activated at the beginning of the 30 minutes.  Thus it would continue to import the documents 'found' until it was done even after the 30 minutes occurred until all those 'found' documents are imported into Laserfiche.

And then the assumption is, any new documents placed in the folder after the 30 minute period would be ignored?

Is this how the LF Import agent is designed to behave?
